GOD LOVES HAIR – SOLD OUT
In really exciting news, the first run of God Loves Hair has sold out! Just a little over a year after it was released!
This is such a special moment for me on a number of levels, especially with the book being self-published. It has been a wonderful, surprising journey, watching the tower of stacked boxes of books in my bathtub slowly dissipate, book by book.
I want to say a BIG, heartfelt THANK YOU to my friends & family who believed in this project, read countless revisions and gave me the confidence to share these stories. To all the faculty that have picked up the book for their courses. To bookstores for stocking the book. To the various festivals and organizations who have invited me to do readings. To reviewers/bloggers who have written/tweeted about the book. To anyone who recommended the book to their parents, friends and lovers. And to everyone who took a chance and picked up a copy of God Loves Hair.
